I get quite a few (not many, but enough for me to notice) referrals from them. In fact, at this rate they may overtake MSN.
I think a more people might be using the since their overhaul a few months ago. Its good to know because the more competition we have the better, as this will diversify the risk for webmasters.
I might get 2 referrals a month from them, might i ask how many referrals you chaps are refering to ?
yep ask.com is bringing lots of traffic to me ..... more than yahoo and almost as msn..... google is still the king hehe
My sites dont really seem to get much traffic from ASK and I certainly prefer searching with google myself.
Looks like Ask plans on growing. They just signed a $6,000,000 deal for more office space into 2015. http://www.costar.com/News/Article.aspx?id=7FEAEE0340303F248EF7CB723284884D It's probably worth keeping an eye on them.
I don't like them. I think they're awful. But for my websites on portuguese from brazil. Because to other countries it may be "not that bad".
...doesnt ask use googles alg? or do they have their own?... According to Bruce Clay's SE relationship chart, Google supplies paid results to Ask, but not primary search results. And Ask supplies primary results to Lycos, HotBot and iWon. http://www.bruceclay.com/searchenginerelationshipchart.htm
Hmmm...interesting. I think they updated their algo. Im seeing some very decent results. I know before they were bought out by IAC, the only way to get indexed was through paid inclusion. Is it still the same, or do they index you for free?
