[ASK]I don't know if this is a best place to ask about making website.

Hello everybody, I am a complete newbie in an internet. But, I want to learn about making a new website.

What must I do first to make my website ?
I have read that I must have my own domain and file hosting, but honestly I don't know what is them.

I don't want to use a free blogger, but don't want to spend so much money in making website either.

To start off, you need a plain text editor (such as notepad) and a good tutorial. You will also need to know some of these terms:
HTML- Hyper Text Markup Langauge, it is the language of the web, most websites are based around this, you can also make a full functioning website just with HTML. Now being relapaced with XHTML. Learn this first

CSS - Cascading Style Sheet, a nifty way to help bring unity to your website's overall look and feel.

JavaScript - This is a pretty basic scripting language, and you need an HTML foundation to learn it. It allows for dynamic webpages and enhanced features.

PHP, Java, Perl Script - more advanced scripts, i recommend you learn java script first. These offer many more possibilities, and takes a special discipline to learn and master.

Bottom line, you NEED to learn HTML, you Should learn CSS, and JavaScript, not too hard if you are good with XHTML, and if you like this stuff, learn PHP script, Java, or Perl.
