PR will increase if your visibility increases which inturn increase through back links. so if you build more back links then you will increase PR

SEO has two aspects. The first is what you do on the site with content and keywords, the second is link building. Now both have a lot more to it but basically, those are your two categories. So build links and keep adding new, well optimized content. Don't worry about PR. Just worry about keeping a good clean site and building links. PR and income take care of themselves.

 

Back links are the only way to improve it unfortunately.

 

PR represents your domain and it has nothing to do with your search engine ranking. But still, to increase PR, try to focus on getting incoming links from high PR & relevant sites/directories/forums. Don't submit to link farms and un-related categories as this might result in website penalization.

Find blogs within the Link Development section of DP with a higher PR. With enough backlinks, you should get a higher PR.

find do follow blogs, forums related to yours. takes constant work to not only keep the rank but rank higher and also helps if they are related to your sight or blog. I just started mine two months ago i learn something new every day and sometimes put in 20 hour days putting backlinks in and so on and so fourth.

I'd say get "quality" backlinks. The more quality they have, the better they count towards your rankings.
