So if you increase number of backlinks, you have more chance to increase to pr 4.

Same like you, I try to bookmarking my site to some social bookmark site. I will waiting for next Google PR update. Wish increase it

 

i do not understand why the most popular social bookmar like facebook is not make the backlink when we place link at their share updates,

 

its just simple answer, coz links from fb are nofollow.
carefull with nofollow links coz that only usefull on increase traffic only.
when you want backlink then you must get dofollow link.
