i have buy domain that banned from Google.

I already submit sitemap, submit reconsideration, add url to Google, build many backlinks, submit to social networking site, and more.. but still no index until now.

I feel frustrated.. Dunno what should i do. How to get indexing by google again.
    My domain is http://homeinsurancegroup.co.uk/

    Any suggestion?
    Thanks..

Try to digg your site and wait for a few days. If it still not appearing in Google after that, then in could be banned.

I would suggest editing your robots.txt file. Not sure how google is reading yours... but its wrong and could be blocking your whole site.

You could check it if you have a google webmasters account.

Send them a note about reconsideration and you can also try Digging your site, sometimes my long lost domains pop right up again :)

Also, after changing the website, it can take weeks or even month to fully index it :) Dont worry :)

Just drop a polite mail to the Google Team indicating the content and the owner of the domain..The purpose to this domain and wait for some time.. ....

If have not verified your site in Google Webmastertools then do verify the site and send a reconsideration with detailed inofrmation about the site. You need to mention that you have bought this domain and revamp the site. Also prerpare a XML sitemap and submit it.

What good is any reconsideration request going to do... IF he has the whole site blocked from being crawled with that robots.txt file he has ?

he has nothing in "Disallow:",unless he had changed it.

uncompress your sitemap, google is not going to read that.

    This is what he has:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow:

    Sitemap: http://homeinsurancegroup.co.uk/sitemap.xml.gz
    Code (markup):
From what I have read... the Disallow line is used to block things. (ref: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=40360 )

But since there is nothing on that line... how are the bots picking up on this? As a test I ran this robots.txt thru one validator I found:
    http://www.invision-graphics.com/robotstxt_validator.html

    Which read it as:
    Disallow: /
    Code (markup):
This would block the entire site even although that was not the intention.

Also, a .GZ format for sitemap is valid and readable by google... but it doesn't validate and could also be a reason for the problem:

    Scoopy is clearly right :D

    Change your file to read:

    User-agent: *
    Allow: /
    Sitemap: http://homeinsurancegroup.co.uk/sitemap.xml.gz
    Code (markup):

    This might work
Buy a new domain an do a redirect to your site.
or put every thing from the old site on the new domain

it seems to me you are using some duplicate content, maybe that's why google doesn't hurry to reinclude you?

You are on the right track dude, just make sure your are not violating any terms of their service and get rid of every shady technique you've used in the past then keep doing what your doing and building backlinks... then simply wait ;)
