    Emm, I want to know how to optimiz the image.
    How does the google "recognize" the image? i know something about alt, and is there anyother tips for image seo?

    i have done an experiment that shows the actual name of the image counts aswel as the alt tag.

    Hi,

    The alt tag and the name of the image file should help. Surrounding text should also be a factor in image SEO.

    In addition to the alt tag and the file name you can sign up for google webmaster tools and enable the "enhanced image search" option in the tools section.

    If your site is "Search Engine Friendly" and is a bit old, then Google must index its images too.
