[ask]Google images traffic- how to make $ from this visitors??

    I have a website with more than 400 visitors daily from google images.

    I guess most of them only looking for my images and not my content, so I think they will not see my google ads.

    so how to trick it ? how to make this visitors can see my adsense ads .

    Think of how you'd use Google images-search yourself. Most of the time, I would just click to see the image alone, even though a site statcounter would have detected a visit on the page.

    Therefore trying to improve click-throughs on these kind of visits is meaningless. ;)

    You can try using a CPM ad-network to maybe get an impression or two out of these visits, so that they don't go to "waste".

    My suggestion is to block all users to image which are referred by google images (you can do this by php and I think also .htaccess), so people who come from google images will be shown some new image with the message they have to visit your site in order to see the image so they will have to look at your site content to find the image they want and they will see your adsense ads :)
    This trick maybe won't work with all visitors because many of them will just close the window and go find another image on google but some of them will actually look at your site, not just image

    I have similar website..
    with around 300 visitors/day, less than 1000 page views/day,
    I got $1-$3/day from adsense.

    I use these tricks:
    1. I place link units below my header (where navigation links are usually placed). This way user will be forced to read those ads, and if they're closely related to your images (artist websites, artists photobooks, etc), users will click them.

    2. I place Leaderboard above my images, below my header (and my link units) and make it blended with my themes.

    So far, these work very well for me.
