If you start a new website and introduce it to other people via email do you ask for coverage on their sites or not? Can you tell me a couple of reason why you do it the way you do? So far I didn't ask for coverage and just gave them some info what the new site or project is about. I thought it is more polite if you leave it up to them. But I also run a couple of websites and when I get inquiries from other people or they introduce their projects to me about half of them ask directly for coverage the other half doesn't. I'm not sure if I'm missing out on something when I don't ask.
