to solve your prob is just make/create a lot of wp theme. then you will find the cases. the effective ways is solve the cases, it will help u become an expert.
Please set up word press in which domain you want to. choose free template for test and go through all the options. I think no better way to learn wordpress or anything .
try to find a easy-to-use framework, that will be better for you! and also try google to search tutorials.
