Thanks, I might invest some .mobi but the price is to expensive IMO. Another question, how you develop .mobi site? isn't it different with the normal web....?
Site has nothing to do with the domain. But I think you'd better develop something about mobile phone with the .mobi domain.
I just registered aatt.mobi what do you guys think? I should register at namecheap moniker is too expensive
It's not long..I'm curious why did you register this domain?Any reasons? Namecheap.com is always the best registrar.
I just like it Do you have any idea what kind of website should I develop with this domain? I got an error message to register .mobi in namecheap sadly
It's always the best to develop mobile related sites withe the .mobi domains. Don't you have any ideas yet?
why is that? I though .mobi is for site that code for for moblie device i.e. smaller resolution, smaller images and lower quality. The point is the make that site fit the smaller screen and load faster because of bandwidth it is suppose to be a mini-me verison of a normal website...
Yep they are having some technical difficulties just submit a ticket/contact them they will register it manaully for you Saad
.mobi websites will be viewed on internet-enabled mobile phones. The webpages will be coded and designed differently but with practice ordinary folk will acquire the ability to make their own .mobi pages. see http://www.dotster.com/design/custom/mobibuild
It's going to be interesting to see the take-up of .mobi by the internet surfing mainstream (if it happens). It's going to come down to the marketing of the TLD sponsors (ericsson, nokia, microsoft etc) and the type of mobile content delivered, not only on .mobi sites, but also .com etc. Apart from flowers.mobi and fun.mobi, the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction didn't really take off for the .mobis perhaps it's still early days. I think most that purchased .mobi in the landrush are realistic - it's a real possibility that it may flop (but hopefully not )
