if I put more than 20 keywords in meta keyword that no problem ?

or I plan to put more than 40 keywords???

this is allowed or not

I think these days search engines dont give much or no importance at all to the meta keyword tag coz of keyword stuffing and othr black hat methods.. so better keep the kewrd tag short n relevant with the keywords u are targetting.

 

There is no rule that says how many keywords do you intend to place on the meta keyword tag so putting more than 20 does not put you in trouble. Just make sure your keywords are indeed found in the web page content.

If you feel that the keywords you place are relevant (stemming, pluralization, etc) then go for it.

But as mentioned, the importance of meta tags is waning so you could be doing some effort that does not produce any improvement at all.

 

what is the reason to put so many keywords? are you going to write on your page about all of them? to make your life easier - use 2-3 keywords per page.

 

Twenty are enough imo
But it has today very less indeed no value in seo.

You need quality inbound links to work for you

I ask this because a few days ago i saw a site with more than 30 keywords in meta keywords so why I ask here if thats good or not

 

Neither. Simply because it has no effect IMO.

Though it may not matter for SEs, 40 would be too much. I was wondering how the content would be if you had to acheive the right keyword density for those keywords.
