[ask] about link on forum

    hi all..
    i just wanna ask, do backlinks on forum counted on pr calculation?
    do follow or nofollow?

    i just wonder, how angela backlink works:), because many lists from there are from forum links:cool:

    Forums are no different than any other type of site when it comes to backlinks.

    Yes, dofollow forum links count (althought IMO they hold very little weight)

    A link is a link. They all count. But the quality of the link is another story.

    It is like in real life. If the bum from the bench across the street in downtown tells you "go to Dr. Smith he's good"
    or if your best friend tells you "go to Dr. Smith he's good", makes a HUGE difference.

    Same with links. A link is basically a recommendation. If it comes from an authority it has far more weight.

    How much authority a site has is measured by the PR or PageRank.

    thanks for the answer, but i wander, when i see in backlinkwatch.com, the link from forum is not listed? can u find the answer, why?
