Asif2BD & Closing Threads

On March 1, I BIN'd the following theme via PM by Asif2BD: Link & Credit Sponsorship Net Web 2.0 (WordPress Unique Free Theme).

Anyway, I made immediate payment and Asif stated he would make certain changes to the theme and distribute it starting the next morning. Then he asked for the thread to be closed and the Moderators obliged him. After that he has done nothing and has also been ignoring my PM's, although he has logged on several times.

If Asif2BD doesn't respond soon, I will do a charge-back and give him negative feedback.

My issue is with the Moderators closing the thread. Shouldn't I be able to post something there, such as my after-sale questions? I understand there is an iTrader system, but when someone ignores PM's, sometimes posting in a thread is the only way to get their attention.

By closing a thread so quickly, Moderators create, albeit innocently, a way for fraudsters and the like to "buy some time."

    Please consider that.

    Wow,

The original thread was reopened in less than a minute. Talk about a quick response!

    Thanks.

Obviously I can't comment on the problem you are describing but sometimes the OP will request a thread be closed if the offer ends or the deal is completed; or, one of the Mods will find a thread that appears to need closing because it has come to the end of its usefulness or the OP has requested it closed in the thread itself.

Yes. I think the OP is correct. There should be a time frame for the seller to give review in the thread. That will surely help in nabbing the scammers and banning them out. That will act as a buyer protection.

Also anyone reading this thread remember this: Dont buy from low repo people that too with egold or Moneybookers. Paypal is your way to go. Plus remember to get the product and test it out for legit copy. If you think its a pirate one then get back to thread and make a post. Dont waste 1 week to reply.

If you remember, Sarah used to always post something along the lines, thread closed. If anyone needs thread reopened, make request via the bad post report. This seems to be best option to me.
