Would like to know that too.

    There's is nothing about
    User Agreement and Privacy Policy
but when you want to register you have to agree on that
How come? looks like a scam

By the way do you try to promote this service and at the same time asking if the service was good or bad? Are you an affiliate?
    http://www.gidforums.com/t-7841.html

Ok now, I found the agreement site, still confusing though and not clear.
A new company, no history (-no future), out of nothing and pretending of being so professional, thats it how it appears to me.

I'd put extra caution on their service. Need some solid testimonials about them first before giving them some credibilty.

Seems like the idea is the best part of the whole thing.

    Dear Arnie

Good to know that you find out the agreement :)
Why you think is not clear?

Try is the only way to know.... a new company is always "unknow" .... of course that does not mean that is bad or good.
To be profesional anyway is "the way" in this business.

Do not misunderstanding me... I have no posted any affiliate link here as you can see... no promo... no money.
    Just listening people and opinions.

    Regards

This business offers high referral comissions. Who's going to pay for that, is that an extra and comes from an advertising budget?
    - Looks a bit fishy in my humble opinion. -

    To your question:

"Thailand has no sufficient laws about internet usage and online businesses on international level."
In case local banking rules apply, I'd say from experience that banks can alter their rules and it depends on their interpretation to various subjects.
What rules are going to apply if your business deals with money accounts?
    Is it legit?
Under what category is that service registerred, or is it just a website? with a company Ltd. (which I can see from the capital registerrred it is) attached but not neccssary related to the online activities? - and what are the limitations of a Co. Ltd..?

Then the language in case of:
Do you think international buyers and sellers would bother about the language when it comes to law enforcement actions? - for one or the other reason?
Why, would you think that everyone going to study Thai law then?

Many additional questions arising out of, assuming your project is honest and neat, the user agreement and its terms & condition etc.

I also find something like this only, answering the same person from above in another forum.

Yes, I used AsianPay, and found them to be completely unreliable.
I authorized an $800 transaction, and they paid some Asian guy instead of me!
I think they should have been more clear about who they pay.
    They suck.
So I always use AmericanPay instead, 'cause otherwise the terrorists will win.

    Dear Arnie

I would like to stop that misunderstanding once and for all.
I posted in this forum becouse I used a lot the service of the tracking keyword service and I though it was a good forum to post and see what people think about AsianPay.

1 - I was not going to spam anyone. You are the moderator and you are free to delete me from the forum immediately if you like and if youthink I'm spammer.

2 - AsianPay is not going to give as GreenZap fake webcash, the 4% of commission are real, people already get it. The 4% is cut from the Fee that AsianPay get from any transaction. So a member receive 100 USD transaction for any reason, AP get 2.5 USD plus 0.39 cents as fee as stated in the Fee structure page, who refered the member payed get 4% of 2.89 USD.

3 - I want be honest with you, Thailand has not law regarding the ecommerce yet, all is new.
We must obey to all the Thailand law as we are located in ChiangMai Thailand, whatever business we do there are law that must be respected as Company Limited.
AsianPay Web Site and Company is registered with the Department of Business Development, the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
They know that the Company exist and it is real and that is authorize to do e-commerce.
Also the Thawte certification of SSL connection confirm that the Company exist and it is real.
    e-Commerce Registration Number
    0507314806181

4 - Of course if you have already decied that they are in Thailand to rob people do not use our services.

5 - Please let me know the forum where you get this so I will go there to reply:
""" authorized an $800 transaction, and they paid some Asian guy instead of me! """
""" I always use AmericanPay instead, 'cause otherwise the terrorists will win. """
I have to say that is totaly fake?
It seams so clear.... it is not.. ? Ok give me transaction ID number, send to AsianPay an email to complain about this 800 USD with all the referee of the transaction. You will have reply in 24h.

    Regards

    I'm not a moderator here.
The info that bothers you was just a simple google search. - Try it.

If your business is straight and honest you'll have to put up some reputation and info from happy clients.

    To your company registration:
Ltd. companies may apply to many different subjects of businesses in Thailand. What is your registerred faculty? - or branch registered?

LAST UPDATE: 12/24/2005 10:54:13 PM -0600 - hence the date from
    GDCA member accredited - funny.
Might not be your fault but findings like this on the 20th of December 2005 puts a suspisious flavor to it.

Furthermore could you tell us what branch or subject of Co. Ltd. is registerred?

I'd like to see alternatives to existing payment services as many others do too.
Before using it, people should do some investigations, check for references etc..seems to be hard to obtain, even for you as I can see...

    For fairness sake...

I'll perhaps give it a try sometime next year since I have an egold account. I'll document every minute detail of the transaction and post it here and other places.

In meanwhile get some good reps. You'll need it.

Thank you Arnie, you are more than welcome to use AsianPay service if you like. Welcome to post here or whereever any detail of the transaction.

    Regarding
"could you tell us what branch or subject of Co. Ltd. is registerred" can you explain me better what do you mean? Sorry but I really do not understand.

AsianPay Co. Ltd is a registered company as all the company must be in Thailand, beside AsianPay have registered with the Thai government the fact that AsianPay is doing e-commerce.
Contact data (address and telephone) are clearly available in the website.

    :)
