.asia - will you bother registering?

Well I may pre register some, but it will not be any keyword domains or to sell it for a profit. I may pick up a few names which I will put it to good use.

however, my registrar can only refund less the packaging fee.
somehting like $4 each.

 

What is a packaging fee?

 

Is .asia worth all this? Who will need this TLD provided all asian countries have their own country level TLD? Its just a hype.

 

.asia is just like .eu

 

lol what's a packaging fee? Do they put the domains in bubble wrap to avoid damage?

As for the .Asia extension, i've regged a couple because the Asia market is a fairly heavy user of the internet.. However i'm definitely not going overboard or developing a huge portfolio with the extension.

what is the packaging fee, never hear of such thing. maybe they charge you a fee for processing the domain through their system.
