.Asia - Is it worth getting on the band wagon?

Hey guys i am just wondering as there are still a few highly searched keywords in the .Asia TLD is it worth buying them?
Do you think they will become valuable or will they just be another worthless domain extension.

    What are your thoughts?

    Will.

I've bought a few, one of my clients bought more than 20 of those right after registrations started.

It might be ok to have one or two. $12.99 at http://www.lotosus.com/

I would be very selective in your domains. You can register at Dotster and use coupon "bargaincat.com" for a discount and they look after the contact thing too.

Most of the registers, aprt from godaddy offers a CED just in case you dont reside in asia.

    eurodns.com is about $10-$11

I thiink its worth regging a few, however most if not all the "good ones" have gone

If you get a good generic domain name with some overture and daily searches you can go for some domains
    with long term investment plans.
You can also buy a dot asia if it complements your dot com domains and you have a strong brand
    presence.
Speculation as usual is a high risk game.

johan, theres a voucher somewhere - do a google serach for "eurodns voucer code"

Chenzen - that the funniest thing i have heard in a long time: "Speculation as usual is a high risk game"

    1. speculating on 10 or 20 .asia domains is hardly "high risk"
    2. domains and the selling of domains is ALL speculation

I'd say any domain name is worth getting, because each day more and more get registered. It's like real estate. One thing to think about is asia has the largest internet user population, so I'd say it's a good idea
