ASAP- Will pay well! Need my Flash movie in a downloadable format

I am getting a lot of requests from my visitors to buy and download my Animal School movie (purple button towards bottom).

I have the movie in sfw format and AVI as well.

I would much prefer to use the AVI format, as that one has a change that I like better.

I need the movie made into some sort of format that people can download and play at will.

Also I would like it to be something that would be simple for them to play on a DVD player, as many of my visitors want to show the movie to groups.

I am not yet ready to go the CD/DVD route... I want everything to be downloadable, no physical products.

Can you do this for me?

    Will pay you well:)

Post or PM me your bid and how you will do this ASAP!

    Thanks,

    Ellen

If you want them to pay first and then download the movie, you need to have the online payment gateway for that .... something like paypal or nochex or may be some other gateway.... and once they pay through card they'll be transferred onto the SSL certified page where they can downloand the product... also if you can get the registration done before they actually buy anything and it would provide you the best way to get the movie downloaded and you can advertise few other things too....

    hope this help...

    Hi Ellen,

You can make the AVI downloadable through something like payloadz.com. Your customer can then burn it onto a CD or DVD to play in a DVD player (or just play it on their computer hooked up to their TV or monitor).

That should do it and be the easiest solution for you. You could offer a DVD yourself (at a premium) for those who can't do this on their own. You can make the price high enough to be worth your while. ;)

If you have a AVI file I can easily covert it into DVD or VCD format. Give me a buzz.

I've never done this for $$$ before, so I would need to know exactly what you need, how big the file is, whether or not you need menus for the DVD, etc before giving a price quote. I would probably just base it off of the time it takes me to do it.

Also BTW just so you know a file in DVD-ready format (meaning a file that can be immediatly burned onto a DVD and played on a DVD player) will probably be very big in size. Normal DVDs are 4-8 GBs. I don't know how much you can host, but just wanted to let you know beforehand.

you can post the avi link and tell your visitors to right-click and click on save as to download it ;)

and i think i'm right, but not sure, but you can play avi files on any dvd player. so they can just burn it on a dvd :)

    hi there..
i too wud suggest you put ur file links on the site and tell the users to right click and select "save target as"..
for better compatibility you may also convert the videos u have to formats like avi, mpg, real media, quicktime.. so that ur users may choose whichever works best for them..
since you dont want to ship ur videos on disks, this seems to be the best option..
as ur users can download and watch them or burn them to vcds or dvds..
PM me for help reagrding conversion of the video..

    thanks.. :)

You can also make standalone exe file from swf or avi file.

    Thanks, all!

That is a good idea, mafia, to offer multiple formats... I think having those formats and an exe file should be good for everyone.

I had wanted a simple way to allow people to play it on their dvd players, I'm sure most of my customers don't have the equipment to burn a cd or dvd (I don't!) but short of making a physical product, it seems they'll have to play it on their computer, right?

I appreciate your help, as I work through this I may pm some of you.

    Thanks:)

You could download Camtasia and use it free for 30 days to make your vid or reformat it.

Well it is pretty much impossible to have people play something on a DVD player without having them burn it to a DVD :)

I think just offering the .avi file should be good enough.
