I was wondering if using this symbol | is good for seo purposes. I saw this on this website. Check the url http://www.1clipart.com/browse.php?p=animals|water|large_fish They use it in the query string. Are there any benefits for this?
I usually stick with the | or a - in the tile of a page. It usefull, and looks better than a , which i beleive raises eyebrows with google. I have never used it in a URL or even seen it before. I have always stuck with a -
It will be better if you make it "www.mysite.com" rather than www.my-site.com" its more friendly on G. I believe that question was ask before here in DP
I always thought -_| are supposed to be a space but it's not.. When searching this http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=animals|water|large_fish&btnG=Google+Search I will end up with 597,000,000 results. But search for this http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=animals+water+large+fish&btnG=Search will end up with 16,400,000 Not exactly sure what this means at the moment. imo, this still works the best yoururl.com/animals/water/large_fish.php
I'm not sure but I think that means that | is or in the search query in google. I also think that it works best yoururl.com/animals/water/large_fish.php or yoururl.com/animals/water/large_fish/
