You're kidding right? Were you smoking anything when you created this poll? How about Ron Paul and another option for "None of the Above"?

    Two mistakes with your poll:

    1. Edwards is no longer running.
    2. Ron Paul is still running.

Well three really, Mike Gravel is still running officially too. In fact, he's who I plan on voting for tomorrow. I would be voting for Ron Paul but I didn't change my affiliation in time and it's a closed primary in New York.

Yea, NP, I would vote for Ron Paul personally, but according to CNN, it doesn't look like he has the greatest of chances.

Yeah, but if you vote for someone else, you aren't helping further the parts of his message and platform you agree with.

Voting for the winner should never take precedence over voting for your values and ideals.

LOL. CNN ignore Ron Paul shocker!!!

Probably best to start a new topic and poll buddy, omitting people that are not running and adding people who are. ;)

I will in a few days. If I make one now, the mods would freakout, and give me an infraction.

Just ask them to close this topic, tell them you watch too much CNN and didn't realise that Edwards had withdrew a while ago and failed to notice that Ron Paul is still well and truly in the running. :p

Hillary, she has the experience we need and she is divergent enough from the George Bush ideal that everyone wants to get away from so badly. Plus I am holding out in vain for an improved health care system.

How in the world will she "improve" health care. You obviously don't understand what socializing healthcare will do. Just look at Canada.

I agree with debunked, socializing healthcare would bring the quality down, not up. And you shouldn't vote for Hilary because everyone wants to get away from Bush's ideals, you should do it because you support her ideals.

You are absolutely right. Did you know there are businesses in Canada that specialize in getting Canadians to the US for health care, mostly so they don't have to be on some super long waiting list? Britain's the same way. NHS is free--you just have to wait six months!

But, back to the purpose of the thread. I would vote for Romney because I really like his ideals. If it had to be democrat, I would go for Obama. His lack of experience worries me a bit, but what he says is great. Plus, he doesn't have to fake any tears just to get some votes.

It's a crap poll and the thread needs closing.

The OP didn't even realise that Edwards had dropped out before he copied and pasted the candidates lol!

Socializing healthcare would bring the uninsured (1 in 7 Americans according to the American Medical Association) and underinsured in our country some kind of quality medical care. Yes, look at Canada, their average life span is 2.3 years longer then ours and their obesity rate is less than half of ours. Besides, there will always be private hospitals in this capitalistic society, so if you want medical care above the socialized standard, you could get it. Socialized medicine would not only improve our preventive care (those who are uninsured and underinsured could actually afford to go to the doctor) but would improve treatment of chronic diseases for many. Also, since doctors don't have to worry about what insurance to accept, or claims being denied by the insurance companies, it would make the paperwork aspect of a doctor's visit reduced. Also, if socialized medicine is so horrible, why do so many countries with it have a lower infant mortality rate than us? So obviously you are the one who doesn't understand what socialized medicine would do.

Socializing Healthcare sounds like a good idea, if you're ready to pay 60% of your income in all sorts of Taxes at State and Federal level. Coupled with that, you have to endure long waiting periods & government bureaucracy.

You should know, Billary Clinton = Raise the Taxes
