As an advertiser, what do you need?

    Hi guys,

I'm currently working on something that will hopefully make advertising a lot easier for you. I'm not here to promote my business, I'm here to do some research and see how I can make it even better. I figured what better way than to ask those who advertise a lot.

So, here it goes; real quick and simple:

    1) What kind of statistical data would you like to have when you advertise? I.E. Where your traffic is coming from, how many times your ads were viewed, how many times it was clicked, which site brings you the most traffic, which of your ads are most responsive, which ads are the least, which keyword paid off the most and so on (btw, these are the things we already provide, I'm trying to see if there's anything else).

    2) Is the ability to advertise through an ad network using text, images, video via CPM, CPA, CPC (pretty much PPC) and CPV (cost per view - applies to videos) enough? And what if we threw in interstitial, co-registration and even in-line text? What else can be used to compliment these services?

    3) We are not offering email marketing services, but we did partner up with a company that could send email ads out to over 4 million subscribers a week. We've setup special discounts for specific remnant packages that little advertisers could afford. Most of their clients are usually huge corporations or agencies that could afford $10,000+ per campaign.

These are just some basic questions. I'm definitely up for some pointers. Things like, what can I do, as an ad network, to avoid mistakes made by AdSense, YPN, Bidvertiser, Clicksor, WidgetBucks and so on? What could they have done that would have been better for you. I'm trying to be as fair as possible without hurting the advertiser, the publisher or myself. So I'm just trying to find some common grounds that we could all live on.

    Thank you guys.
