HAs the article been rejected or is it awaiting approval? If its been rejected, they will tell you the reason. Otherwise you will have to be patient and it will eventually get reviewed - it took my last one about 20 days to be approved so its not quick sometimes.
I have submitted lots of articles to various directories in the past. Some articles were spinners and some were duplicates. The result? The spinners got accepted quicker and more often and the duplicates kinda worked but not as well. If you can I suggest you always try and submit "unique" articles, and spinning articles can work. I always try to make sure that the spinners are at least human readable and not junk like you see all over the net.
