I've read alot about it here but I couldnt get an answer about the automated programs that sends out thousends of articles a day. 1. do they make sure not to send the article the same way? 2. will i get punished? 3. is it effective? 4. will i just through out my money and get only 1 link??? PLZ help! thanks you
Instead of automatic article sending use services like isnare to submit your article to article directories. I am sure that Google understand that your article is in Article dashboard site(i.e. article submission site) and devalues your link. The content too will get devalues. As far as how many are concerned, submit like 10-15 with different anchors/url combo and you wil be fine. submitting 50 articles with same anchor and url will surely make google believe that you are doing seo and your site will take a dip in serps.Personally I don't think so that for one page(or keyword) of your site you have to submit more than 2 articles.
I've done both manual submissions and automated submissions for articles and I've received better results with manual submissions. I think there is no limit to article submissions, especially if you do them manually. Each directory takes time to review articles and it can take days or even weeks for your article to be reviewed and accepted. Then, Google will take a few more days to crawl and index the new pages. So just use different combinations and variations of the articles and links in them, as poseidon mentioned above and you should be doing alright with your article submission.
I usually pick up to 25 different anchor text I want to use and then I rotate them out with each article. I have found that I get a good jump in traffic when I submit a good article. After a few weeks the traffic from it dies down. MSN seems to like the links from the articles over the log haul but I'm not sure about Google or Yahoo. One reason, other than building links, to write good articles is the traffic you get directly from the articles on other sites. I have won business before just because someone read an article I wrote on a site like About.com.
If you are interested in submit articles, try my website.... I a new place where you can promote your website and work. Im sorry if i make any advertising here.
Sites where you submit to, might end up having copyright issue against other sites, where you post the same article to. Hopefully that won't pose a problem.
Howdy. In addition to submitting to the big article directories like EzineArticles.com, iSnare.com and others, you submit your work to some highly relevant niche sites (related to yours). Here's one of my favorite SEO shortcuts: Google your key phrase and the words "submit article" ... this will give you some niche sites that accept articles. For example, if you're writing about custom widgets, you would Google: custom widgets +submit articles custom widgets +post article custom widgets +send us an article ...etc. Good luck. -Brandon
