Articles on site, should they go on blog too?

Currently, on one of my sites I have a section called Articles, as you can imagine I have all of the articles in that area. Should I also be posting the articles from the articles area to my blog in addition to having them in the articles area on the main site? Will that help SEO? Placement? etc..?

no, posting the same information in two places is not a good idea unless you add / change / modify it in some significant way.

for example you could include a brief synopsis and a link of the new article in your blog, and then allow comments there.

Alright, thank you....Thats what I will do

I dont know if it makes a difference or not, but the blog and the main site are on the same domain so I dont think there would be an issue with duplicate content would there?

if you just repeat the same article twice it's a bad idea and you're asking for problems.

if you mention there's a new article on the site and summarize what it's about and link to it, that' something else entirely...

yea...you should not place the article in both places. People are always saying that you should do that but when it comes time to index your content everything will get messed up because google will only index one or something of that nature...I have been an article writter and I used to write articles and send them to 10000 different places...not anymore...1 article, one place....

Google hates me anyways, im not even indexed with them after 2 1/2 months...

Im using disgust's method, just summarizing the article in a paragraph and linking to it in a blog post.

Maybe you can simply provide a link to the article accompanied by and short and attractive description? I'd have to agree with the others, posting the same content twice isn't really a good idea.

Do you generally set up the blog as a subdomain, or a domain of it's own?

    ie. blog.niche.com or nicheblog.com

... or could you even use blogger?

For this site its set up as a subfolder... http://getcredit365.com/blog/

30K Challenge, I dont believe im banned by google, I think im in the sandbox or something, credit cards, loans and insurance are a very competitive topic so I wouldnt be surprised if I was in the sandbox, but does the sandbox also imply that im not indexed?

The sandbox doesn't imply that you aren't indexed. It implies that you are, but not ranking at all. [as far as I understand]

If it is a good aricle , you could just have a small write up with a link on your blog. Dont post the exact same article...

so basiclly you just write a review of your article on your blog with a link to it that is anchor texted with your favorite keyword and then make sure you send it all the social bookmark sites and ask everyone you know to give it some loveeeee and dont submit the article twice because i agree that google doesnt like duplicate content at all.good luck:D

Just make sure that it's not duplicate content, or it could potentially end up hurting your standings.

Maybe not posting the article word-for-word, but re-use the content in multiple ways - reposition them, or combine them to come up with new articles.
