Articles on my sites or article directories?

My goal is to promote my ecommerce website.

I was wondering for a while, where is the best place for my articles:
    1. Major article directories.
    2. My main ecommerce website, which I promote, which is spidered by google and has pr4.
    3. Or build a new info website which will contain the articles and link back to my website.

I ask this, because I only use unique content, copyscape safe, and don't want it to have duplicates; Or is it ok to have duplicates, for example, on my main website, one on ezine, and one on my info website?

Also, I haven't researched it myself yet, maybe some of you did:
Which scripts can create rss feeds on for my website pages, they are written on ASP+xhtml?

    Thanks in advance

If you want to be promoting your website try to post some articles in the major article directories, it won't hurt your content, there's always a way to find out who wrote the article first :) you get my point ? You can also have an ezine and blog together, it will be better for seo.

I have articles on my website and I try to write longer, better, in my opinion, articles for the site.
I submit to article submission sites on a regular basis now, no so much in the past.
I have two blogs where I wrtie "mini articles", news in the industry and try to make it so that I update as often as possible. I guess I fall into the "keep your hand in everything" category as far as articles and content. Some days I am more in the mood to do one more than the other.
