I prefer Firefox as well. If you scroll to the bottom, the last icon says (on mouse over) View Full Sized Photos-

If you click on that, Firefox will bring it up in a new window. Granted, to see the full show, you need IE, but you can bring up the photos.

However, my resume and clips have lots of samples too.
