    Hello ..
I was just wondering , if i write articles for my website , and those articles get indexed , first , in my website .. Then , if I submit the same article without modifications to ezinearticles (so I'll find my article duplicated in Copyscape ) does google penalize my site ?

    Thanks for answering ..

Ezine will reject them for the duplicate content. I you decide to do this, submit and get approved by ezine first. I think it's just easier to spend 15 minutes and put together a new article.

Sorry , but this is false ..
Ezinearticles is human edited , and they know if you submit an article that belongs to you ..

I submitted many times the same article without modifications to Ezinearticles after getting the article indexed on my site .. And they accept these writing ..
And that's why I'm asking and posted the topic ..:)

If the articles first get crawled by google on your site, then no, Google will not penalize your site when these articles are posted else where. If google used to penalize for such thing [submitting articles from competitors site to article directories], then people would start to do this for their competitors in order to get them penalized.

Good point! However Google probably does downgrade, or even ignore the links associated with the duplicate content. BUT that doesn't stop the article from directly generating traffic to your link.

Alwys first submit to EA and then spin them quickly and submit to a few other big ones. Don't bother about the smaller directories if your main aim is traffic

Ezinearticles always accepted my articles even those already on my website. All I do is rewrite every article I sumbit to FTS and article directories - generally I rewrite 1 article into 50 others with PAW and then submit.

Now there's another rewriter as powerful as PAW but cheaper. Honestly, it's the easiest way to rewrite an article as not only it has a built-in thesaurus but you can even rewrite an entire sentence and keep the control over what you rewrite in order to keep the articles readable.

you won't get 'penalized' as such by Google. It just wont do you any good. Make them unique each time you submit them, and you can dominate the serps.

That's news to me... I send a lot of articles to ezine on a weekly basis and have always been careful to not use any content that wouldn't pass copyscape.

    I appreciate the education there.

Sorry for you too.. :) I have heard this many times, but this is not true.
    Here is an example,
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=tips+for+roasting+a+turkey&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

This is a Google search for "Tips for roasting a turkey"
Look at results 7 and 9

    7.
    http://ezinearticles.com/?Tips-For-Roasting-a-Turkey&id=2420138
My article submitted to Ezinearticles without making modifications.

    9.
    http://www.youtips.net/community/Tips-for-Roasting-a-Turkey.htm
The original article written in my website ..

No modifications, and Copyscape consider these two pages duplicate , but both of them appear in the SERP.

Just try, and you'll learn :)
Put yourself in their case , someone submit an article that exists ONLY in one other website (according to CopyScape) and this same site is in the resource box of the author ..
    Conclusion ?
    :)

I don't need to learn... you have already taught me that.

I owe you a cold one.

    Thanks.
