articles, keep unique to your site or submit to places like ezinearticles.com

Okay, I have written about 6, one thousand word articles for my magazine so far. It is an online e-zine: http://www.Lucidly.com. Anyways, I was wondering which is better to do:

    1. Keep the articles only visible on my site and to subscribers so the content remains uniquely mine.

    2. Submit the articles to places like http://www.ezinearticles.com with a link to my site in the article.

I know sometimes search engines will give you a lower ranking or ignore certain content in regards to determining your ranking if your content isn't original, which then my articles would no longer be. Do you see what I am getting at? Is it better to post my articles on other sites like ezinearticles ( in addition to my own site) and sacrifice the search ranking (not even sure if it does this so I'd like some insight on this), or is it better to keep the articles uniquely on my website?

Rewrite the same articles using different wording. Submit these to article directories, they will be picked up by other webmasters and published on their sites creating backlinks to you. Good articles will start showing back links after 24 to 36 hours.

I would recommend to change the anchor text also.

How much of the article should be changed? Should it be so there are no 3-4 word same phrases or something?

    Here's an example:

"Almost everyone is looking for a camera that ensures good photo quality."

    re-written:

"Most people are searching for a digital camera that produces good photos."

A thesaurus is very handy for this.

    Cheers,
    Mike
