You need to think what is going to work for your product, keywords play a big part.

For example, i've got a site promoting affiliates, hopefully they will buy wealthy affiliate Think which words and phrases people are more likely to purchase with and use them.

I own Rec Room Plans and was promoting ping pong table plans. Now which do you think will get more RELATED views 'How to build a ping pong table' or 'How to play ping pong'. You need to write for your target audience...less targetted clicks is better than more non-targetted clicks.

Grant, this isn't the place for you to place anchor text links to your sites, or even links to your sites at all.

Forest1, if you want to write a review of a product you can but I have had more luck with writing articles about a topic and then suggesting to my reader software/ebooks that will help them fix the problem I am writing about.

A shallow review will only last until the product is no longer popular, but writing substantial material about a subject will bring in continuous sales if you are convincing.

It's dofollow for a reason... Although that was kinda obvious, and double-linked with the wrong anchor on one of them. Good call :p

You can either choose to write a professional review of a product or you can write a personal recommendation of it, like you've tried it and now you are sharing your opinion.

Just be careful that the directory you're submitting to allows your links to be placed.

Ezinearticles, for example, doesn't let you do this - so you can either link to an intermediary site where you collect opt-ins, or you can buy a domain and redirect with your affiliate link. :)

There are quite a few, but its always a good idea to use a landing page or a link to a domain that forwards on to your affiliate.

You can pick up a .info domain for like $1 - don't avoid the good sites like Ezine, just because you can't link directly, just work around it.

Most affiliates will go writing reviews/articles on the product alone which is not the only thing you can do.

Let me explain. As of my experience there is a certain theory which you should apply when writing "copy" that sells. Lets suppose you're promoting some "Golf Ebook" -- How To Play Golf Better...

Do a quick research on what keywords you're going to target related to golf...

Pick a few that you think will be high converting.. and write 100 articles around those keywords..

Don't think that "Golf Equipment" won't convert I'll assure you that it will... even though it's an educational ebook you're promoting.

Write ten articles promoting golf equipment, ten articles about the history of golf, ten about playing golf .. and so on.. rinse and repeat. You need to test which keyword converts best..

That's just the short story.. :)
