If there is a better DP forum area for this please point me in the right direction.

I have been learning AdSense for a bit now. My monthly $s is pitiful avg about $1.25/week. Slow at focussing my niche. I think I have found it.

I have 25+ years IT mgmt experience so I have plenty of articles to use. My question is this. If I write an article can I submit that excat same article to other article sites OR should each submission be different?

I would say make them different, so that search engines don't see them as duplicate content.

...however, as a counter-point, it may be fine to submit the same thing. What is your goal? SEO or actual clicks back to your site?

Keep the best articles for your own site, so your site will become an authority in your subject. Make shorter summaries of those articles that still look like articles and submit those to search engines. For a new site it is especially important that you do not submit the same articles that you also have on your site - because that will prevent your site from being listed at all. An article that has already been indexed can be submitted to an article directory, no problem.

Fresh articles on your site is the best to get more and more organic traffic to your site, better create a blog (wordpress recommended) on your site and write articles as much as you can and wait for few days, you can see some dramatic changes on your traffic as well as income...

submitting articles elsewhere is a way to get links to your site, which you will need to increase visitor-numbers. But in order to get more stable traffic and links to your site from other sources you have to make sure the content on your own site is very good. So in the short run submitting articles elsewhere may help a bit, but in the long run it's more important to make sure your own site is worth visiting, bookmarking and getting links to.

When you have got valuable content on your site, submit it to social bookmarking sites like stumbleupon, delicio and stuff like that. This can get you traffic faster then google can - and traffic means more exposure - means more links (eventually).

    THANKS EVERYONE!

Ask the right question and get THE right answer!

I have been writing some but to be honest I was sitting on them for some reason. Keeping the best for my site sounds like THE most logical and then submitting summary type articles to other sites.

A big thank you for the social web sites. I have honestly never been there nor had I ever considered. I was thinking that articles was the way to go for driving traffic to my site so the few articles that I had submitted only sent a handful (if that) to my sites.

Are there any other social sites that top the charts?

    Thanks again!

    Buddy

Just google 'social bookmarking'. But stumbleupon is really the best for most content sites. If your subject is technical DIGG may also do the trick.
