What are the main differences/rules for each? I'm pretty savvy on the differences between a press release and a blog. But is there a difference between a blog and an article or a blog and a press release? Hopefully someone can clear this up. Thanks!
They are all articles, but the function and format is different. Press release is when you have something newsworthy to talk about your website and you distribute it to others, while you can post just about anything on your blogs. Does that answer your question?
Press release and article writing are one and the same thing with one huge difference that press release is specifically targeted towards a new news, headlines whereas a article writing can be of any general niche. The Blogposts are nothing else then a group of articles belonging to a particular theme and stored under a powerhouse named "BLOG" Sara
Press release: A public relations announcement issued to the news media and other targeted publications for the purpose of letting the public know of our company details. Blogs: The Blogposts are nothing else then a group of articles belonging to a particular theme and stored under a powerhouse Article submission: An article is a stand-alone section of a larger written work.
In writing Press Release, you are allowed to mention your site name as well as your site's services and products, but in writing articles, self-promotion is not allowed. You can only mention your site in your resource box. The content of the article must provide readers with some useful information that is related to your site. For example, your site is about shopping handbags, you can write an article about "Importance of Handbags" or "Guide on how to choose handbags"..
