Articles backlinks- Best way to post new articles?

What is best way to post new articles?
Post new articles in your own blog/ site first and then post in article directories with link back to your own blog/ site? OR post only in article directories first with link back to your own blog/ site?

Do not post the same articles on your blog and on the article directories, instead either re-write or write completely new posts.

 

well this is a very commmon knowledge

 

if you submit to both it would be considered duplicate content

 

Do not submit the same articles you publish on your site to the article directories as well.
Duplicate content is already a big problem, no need to make it even worse.
The best solution would be to rewrite those articles before submitting them.

Articles are about waste of time anymore unless your submitting them to sites like ezine articles, and etc.

 

I normally publish the same article on ezine + my blog
not too convinced about the duplicate content issue, anyway my articles are normally picked up by so many publishers and posted on their sites. So if you publish an article on ezine, anyway it will create a lot of duplicates.

I receive some traffic from these, and all articles in time gain good PR.
