Articles are not in order old articles are coming up

    On my joomla site I recently updated the cms to 1.5.22 which changed the order of articles so the old articles which were recently updated or changed have now started coming up in category pages.

    How do i rectify this problem I wish to see old articles in their old order. I donot using to upgrade to 1.6 right now

    When you upgrade joomla version, settings are automatically changed to default.

    You need to customize your settings again.

    if you use the the menu as Front Page Blog Layout
    please go to your this menu manager, then you will see Parameters (Advanced), you can set Primary Order as oldest first

    dont you think oldest first will bring old articles on top :( I want recent articles on top doing most recent first puts the recently edited articels on top not the ones recently created
