Articles - A question about unique content to unique site.

I write 1 unique article and submit to one article site (I wont change this)

I currently submit all my articles to Ezinearticles, so in effect I get lot of links (3 for each article) from the same site.

    So here are the questions:

    1. Is it not better to submit to different article sites? e.g. 1 unique article to ezine, 1 unique article to goarticles, etc, etc (purely in order to get links from different sites.)

    2. There are a limited amount of high PR (>=5), SEO friendly article directories (I would appreciate a list), so after I complete the list, I assume I should start at the 1st article directory again, or maybe I should start submitting to the lower PR directories.

It is ok to send articles to different article directories. Diversify your linkbuilding , you can also write articles for other sites and add your link in.

One technique you can use is:

1: Write one article and post it on your site.
2: Write one article and post it on EzineArticles.com Link back to your homepage and the article on your site.
3: Write and submit another article to multiple article directories. Link this article to the article on EzineArticles, the article on your site, and your homepage.

Remember that the idea is to get webmasters who visit the article sites to publish your article, not just get your article published on the article directories.

It does n't matter whether it is lower PR or higher PR

If you submit to different article sites, you get the chance to vary the anchor text in your links. If a lot of webmasters pick up your article, it's good to create a more natural looking variety of keyword terms in the links that point back to your site.

I have thought about this, I like the idea, was however wondering if the step 3 would be seen as "bad" by the search engine due to the duplicate content. I assume the step 3 article is another variation of the article in step 1.
Is the linking of "step 2 to step 1" and "step 3 to step 2" a way of pleasing the se's due to the fact you are linking back to the original story?

That's not a big deal, IMO.

First of all, remember that even articles just submitted to ExineArticles.com (if they are half-way decent) will get published on many other sites and will be duplicate content.

Second, having links from dupe content pages won't harm your site. It will just decrease the quality of the links.

The point of having article 3 link to article 2 on EzineArticles is to hopefully make the article on EzineArticles the authority/original article. If that makes sense...

    :p

i think it's better to submit one article to one directory.

google may filter most of them because of duplicate content

Duplicated content is not good, nor for you as publisher neither for the articles website while google penalizes duplicated content pages.

Try to submit separate articles to different article directories. For example, us at www.e-articles.info, we clearly specify we only accept absolutely unique-content articles and this policy works although sometimes we have to reject high quality submissions that, unfortunatelly, are duplicated...
