So I've bought and used this software but had limited success up until now. On the first two articles I had an approval rate of about 40% which isn't too bad but I've submitted two other articles recently and almost none of the directories seem to have published them? Are there any tips from the veterans on using this tool more effectively?
How long has it been since you submitted? It takes a while for some of the sites to approve an article. If you are submitting links in the text of the article that will significantly lower your acceptance rate. More than two links in your resource box will also make your acceptance rate drop. Take a hard look at your aticles. Are they well written? some directories do not care all that much, others care a lot.
40%? It is normal. If you get better acceptance ratio, you need to have better quality articles which must be original. The good acceptance ratio is 60 - 80%.
For the first articles where I got a 40% acceptance rate I only had one link in the resource box and none in text. In the two recent ones I submitted two weeks ago I have one in the resource box and one in text (since I think in text is better for SEO than the resource box link). But out of these articles after two weeks for each of them only 4-5 out of 70 submitted directories have approved them.
It really helps when the article is something that has not been done before. This is easier said than done in some categories, but if it is truly new and unique stuff the ratio will go way up!
hmm yeah but most people are chasing the same keywords so there will be overlap. I get they may also not be too impressed that the last four articles were all targeting the same keywords more or less. Some good tips so far any more will be appreciated.
I use Artemis Pro for article submissions... You can build your own list of publishers to submit articles to, thats how you really crank up article marketing effectiveness.
