Article marketing and Article submission are 2 different things. Anyone can throw some words together and submit it. In order to get people to click your link you need to entice them. Make them think that they have to read what your saying. As what was mentioned before. You need to learn how ezinearticles work. Your article will rank higher than others if it is optimized correctly. Then put a link to your article in your sig. Promote it the same way you would your blog. See where it takes you. What you want is to people to publish your articles on their blogs. This is where you get your quality traffic. Write for your readers and offer content that has some sort of meaning. If people dont like your article they're surely not going to click the links. CTR for my articles according to ezine is 10.8% with over 500 views (in 4 weeks) and I feel this is pretty good.
I usually get the best results when I see that for my keywords there are already some Eza articles on the first page. I know then that I can beat them and sometimes all it takes is having a few backlinks to them.
