I have been writing a few articles for bukisa and ac , but none of them seem to pay that well , cos it is difficult to get 1000 views for an article . i believe my time would better spent at article marketing , rather than article writing , btw , how many of you make money by writing articles ?
not many make money directly writing articles unless they are an actual writer that is paid to write for other people if your article isnt doing well then you need to re write it. I like article marketing though all though it is boring the thought that it can be bringing in massive amounts of free traffic is what keeps me motivated
I do like to write very much...As people will market my articles their selves. I would always like to do hidden guest blog posting.
You can make money by writing for others, writing for yourself or both. There are only three reasons why a content producer should be poor: 1. You aren't good. 2. You don't know what to do. 3. Both. Problem 1 can sometimes be fixed. Problem 2 can always be fixed.
It's almost always better to write as a freelancer than to write for a company, save with very few exceptions. Keep in mind that companies have to take out middleman fees, whereas if you are finding clients directly, you can charge them per article and take 100% of the profits for yourself.
In order to get more pageviews, make sure you select some keywords before writing the article and make sure to include each keyword 2 or 3 times in the article. This way, people will find it more easy through search engines.
I prefer article writing because I used to writing articles.... You can go to my DP BST Content thread for ordering my articles.
You can get paid for writing articles in an indirect way.if you have an expertise on any niche start a blog. Write quality posts and drive traffic. You will get rich pretty quick (No way in less than 2-3 years). Darren rowse from problogger.net is a six figure blogger which he achieved in a span of 5 years
I've been making a consistant $2200+ a month since December of last year as a content writer. I've got a special method of taking advantage of Associated Content as a non US citizen that's become extremely popular on another Internet Marketing forum. Take a look at my sig and you'll be directed to the forum and dozens of rave reviews for how well the method works. If you know exactly what you're doing with AC there's really consistant income to be made with it. Good luck with whatever path you choose!
hey ,dude ,i feel a little bit upset whrnu said that ---i believe my time would better spent at article marketing , rather than article writing --seems like we are losing another good writer
u know , more and more people write for money and less for writing's own sake we gonna lose a lot if that is the trend
I make plenty of money writing articles and web content...it surprises me that there are so many people who don't look past the content sites and the $10-per-article (ish) vendors. Today I'll be writing pieces for $70 - $100 each. What's my secret? I didn't go to the content sites. I went out and found clients willing to pay for my expertise in areas like personal finance, VA loans, FHA mortgages, military affairs, car insurance, etc. You CAN make good money writing stuff like this, but you won't find that money without doing some digging. The content sites are great--I use them for my own special purposes--but trying to make a living off them? Not me...I think there's an important time management factor here. Spend your energy looking for higher paying gigs and you'll find a paycheck bigger than you'll get from those content sites. Again, nothing wrong with 'em, just not good to focus on them as a money maker.
If you are good at article writing, i advise you to try out yourself in affiliate marketing. I never used those adsense income promising sites for article submission. It is a waste of your valuable time for pennies. So even selling articles doesnt bring so much profit like affiliate marketing through article marketing. So I like article marketing.
Establish yourself as a web author- open a blog. From the blog, promote your articles. Once you've established a popular name (and portfolio), use it to do freelance work. And by having the background that you spent time creating, you can jump into higher paying freelance jobs.
