Hello there! Since I'm new to all this I started of by achieving alot of information about the abilities to make money online. And since I think I'm not really ready to start a blog (I'm lazy) and update it every once in a while waiting for the longterm money to slowly come in. I've read (correct me if I'm wrong) that there is also the possibility of writing articles, and get paid to even do so. so I started gaining some information on that, and checking a few websites out where they offer a few "jobs" as article writer. But my question is, me as a total newbie, how can I compete versus all the bids I see in certain "job offers". There are alot of people that actually can provide professional writing. So what I would like to know is, what can I do as a beginner in article writing? Thanks in advance.
Write a few articles yourself with a link to your offers. Try submitting some articles to article gems (link below).
take a writing course (if you can) and then setup a website where you charge x amount of cents per word.
If you can’t be dedicated enough to start a blog, how can you be dedicated enough to write an article for a client in a timely manner? Don’t want to put you down, however creative writing requires dedication and a gasp over grammar and the subject you’re writing for, in order for the article to be worthy of being paid for. My suggestion to you would be to write few free articles and submit them to article directories and other media outlets with a link to your portfolio blog/site. Once you have succeeded in getting few quality articles published, you can then show them to perspective clients and if they like what they see, they might just hire you.
If you are a good writer then you can offer your services on DP or at freelance sites. There is a huge demand for good content.
It's not that I couldn't be deticated to writing, it's just I don't want to keep writing about the same topic over and over, if you know what I mean? I believe writing about multiple topics does not only expand my experience as an article writer, but also expands my own knowledge on these different topics as I will be doing alot of research. This might possibly help me out with future websites/project I'm planning on doing.I'm still finding my way in the online business, my achievements offline are achievements I'm proud of. But since I know the web will be exploding within the next 10 years I believe it's time to settle myself online. Thanks for the responses I got already, feel free to keep posting. Kevin.
I suggest that you try to obtain some experience first and then provide the services. If you start providing services without ever promoting anything as a internet marketer, you have a high possibility that the articles will not be as good. Find some product that you want to promote, then write few articles and submit them to Ezine and Goarticles. Keep doing this until you find the formula that works for you. It will be of great help if you go to www.bummarketingmethod.com and sign up for Travis free ecourse. He will teach you the basics on how to do it. Also if you are looking for free ways to make some money online I also suggest that you take a look at my signature file. Good Luck, Ivan
What I would do is invest time for writing free article samples to reputable clients who can leave you a good testimonial, then you can use these in your portfolio to get other clients.
Well, I can tell you what I did. First, I found out about this forum (DigitalPoint). Then, I started doing forum posting in exchange for money. After doing this about a month, I noticed I was doing a lot of work for little money. I started doing article writing after someone approached me to do so, and I found that I made a lot more money than forum posting. I already had good iTrader from the forum posting, so getting people to take me seriously was no problem. After selling a few essays of mine I did for my writing class on AssociatedContent.com, I realized I should do away with forum posting altogether- and did. Since then, I have opened a thread here and there advertising my services. I have been very busy since then- but also make some great money. Good luck
THere are alot of sites were you can signup to be a freelance writer, just google it and you will get a few results.
Writing for someone else is probably not a good idea, you can earn much more if you will write and submit articles which will support your web-site. It's easier that it seems to be.
start writing couple of them for free, sell at discount price initially and then charge more , go that way u can do well, articles are required by every website, imagine websites without content.
