I'd be interested to know how many articles people are writing on a daily basis? I'm writing 2-3 a day and submitting them out alongside a few other marketing techniques and they seem to be bringing up some steady traffic, which is constantly increasing. I'd love to have the time to do 50+ per week and really see how effective it would be though!
Used to do 1 or so per week. These days not doing much. But yeah, article marketing is one of the best.
Yeah, article marketing works great especially if you think out of the box. Sometimes, its better to exchange articles with links with someone. That works much better than the link exchange.
If you write even one article a day, you will have effective results. You have to submit your articles to the top directories, though, because these top directories have a large amont of traffic and a good ranking, which makes all of the difference in the world. In addition, you will want to insure your articles are keyword rich. I recommend keeping them within a 3 to 5 percent keyword density. I hope that I have helped.
I used to write one or two for my main money site. This is 1-2k words per article. And then one or two for top article directories (300-500words) and one or two spinners (~500 submissions). When this started bringing profits I've outsourced double that many. Good spinner article writer can write up to 3000 readable articles a day. Think about that power!
I share your opinion, is not quite dead but it will be very soon. Thats why i said that with articles you can make good links but you need to think out of the box, and not to write articles and submit them to article directories.
I assume you have written quality content and not just whatever content. My writer wrote them daily based on the topics I gave them and it is sufficient for me. Article marketing is an excellent way to build up readership, especially in numbers - the more your articles published the more traffics and readership increasing, but not in all niches.
Producing that many per day is great but I'm wondering how many website you submit them to. I find that takes the most time if you are trying to publish to alot of sources. Could you list which websites you submit the articles to?
Ezine Articles ArticlesBase GoArticles SelfGrowth iSnare Squidoo Count. The rest of them are well behind but I still see significantly improved rankings after posting to hundreds a day.
Hey, I wonder if anyone know of a smart way to submit articles. Maybe submit to one site, and have that site submit to many other automatically. Any ideas are welcome
There are so many ways to distribute them. For me AMR does the job well. As an alternative to this there are numerous web services. Google it. Some 1k article directories in AMR or 10$ for the same number with services. Before anyone jumps the gun AMR can be used in a perfectly legit way if you load that many articles as files. It's much faster buying and using spinned articles though. Web distribution works more or less the same.
Yes, I'm picking subjects that I think will convert to targeted traffic in the long run. Really I'm thinking I will get the traffic from the articles themselves, and the SEO I gain from it is just a bonus for the future. I've wrote 7 today and will try and do similar the next few days as I'm away next week By the way, for people that think it is dead; you are obviously not doing it right. I'm building links and getting some decent traffic at the same time!
Not many presently but I plan on making it at least a few articles a week. I'm working on other methods for the time being. I'm trying to promote my existing content presently.
I believe it is about the quality of the article but I tend to write a few a week if I am honest and this brings me a decent amount of traffic.
How to write articles? Or how to submit them? If submitting to article directories, you are usually allowed two anchor links on the bottom of your article (author resource box).
Writing was never my favorite IM task so I ended up outsourcing all of it. My staff members are generating around 20-40 articles per day, depending on my needs and I would have never been able to do something like this on my own. I know a few people though that can crank out 10 articles a day by themselves and I'm always amazed at how they manage to do that. I'm talking about quality articles here, not some crappy unreadable 200 post junk.
