The article includes : Why the script is important how it can please your visitors how it can affect your sales/submissions On the shelf scripts, examples of them, and their advantages and disadvantages Off the shelf scripts, examples of them, and their advantages and disadvantages As usual i appreciate your feedback, its nearly midnight and im tired so expect typos! Reading now... Noticed a few small typos you might want to squash: "A script with no automatic payment processing, no form to submit site details, or giving little benefit/attention to listed sites and the top bidder will not do you and your sales and favours." "and" there should be "any". Also, further down: "and they way this script was built this is not maximised to good effect." -- "they" should be "the". Lastly, a little further down is the word "imminantly". Not sure what that one means. Thanks for the mention of Big Web Links Bid Directory.
Thanks for spotting those Chris. I will check "imminantly" exists in the dictionary. I thought it meant the same as immediatley.
@MystikMedia As a matter of interest, was there a particular reason you opted to develop an in house script for your bidding directories ? And is it worth it for you? I have a few non directory sites developed in asp.net , which i maintain an develop but, I abandoned my own directory script in favour off phpld & phplb so i could focus on the business side, Just interested in your point of view cheers
