You could see results with google analytic.

Submitting articles is excellent way to get both traffic and backlinks.

I believe the key to writing good articles is to
    1. decide on a keyword phrase you want to target.
    2. Mention it early in the title. Eg. - Dog Training Tips - here are my top ten
    3. Mention it again in the first 2 or 3 lines of the summary
    4. Mention it again in the first 2 or 3 lines of the article
    5. Mention it again in each subsequent paragraph, but don't over do it.
    6. mention it finally in your Bio or resource box. EG For more dog training tips, see ...

That will result in an optimized article for you which you can submit to the directories.

But I like to take things a bit further.

I first write what I call a seed article and then break it down into paragraphs. I usually have 4 or 5 paragraphs max, no more than 450 words.

Each para I break into it's component sentences.

I then take each sentence and write 5 different versions of it and then form these new sentences into a spinn ready format like this:

    {sentence 1|sentence 2|sentence 3|sentence 4|sentence 5}

This process usually takes me 90 minutes per article but the net result is a seed article that will produce millions of unique versions when I spin it. Each of these can be submitted to directories and provide content for my websites.

I also sell spun versions as each one ends up as a good quality, readable, sensible version. (unlike auto content re-writers which just replace words with synonyms). I test 4 versions in Dupecop and they always come out at around 70% unique which is great.

It is still a manual process to submit spun versions to the directories, but it is worth it.

Sounds great, and yes i agree the articles ive written fast so far, ive scrapped and started again as they werent very good and not really readable.

Can you tell me a bit more about this process? I mean, do you write one for say hubpages (or whatever you use), 'spin' it, then resubmit it to hubpages? respin and again to hubpages? or just the one article to hubpages about this topic, then submit spun ones to other directories??

    Many thanks, Alan.

I use the top directories such as ezine, goarticles, hubs, lenses etc So all the articles on each one are different and read very well but all targeting the same keyword phrase. I will submit 2 or 3 to each service, but not at the same time. I wait a couple of days between posting subsequent articles. But the fact ezinearticles accept spun versions is proof enough to me that they are good enough quality and unique. They usually reject spun articles automatically. But I always check with dupecop anyway. If they are less than 50% unique I tweak the article.

In my view, it's worth spending time to write a good spin ready seed article. Even if it takes me 2 or 3 hours. (One good article can generate tons of backlinks and attract organic clicks). Once you do one article you get the hang of it and it gets easier.

I then run it though my spinner and create a bank of quality articles for each keyword phrase - I spin the titles as well, but there's not as many options with titles.

I sell a lot of the articles I spit out at constant-content. So I also watch what people are looking for on that site and if its a popular niche I will spend time doing a good spin ready article and I can knock out a load of articles they will buy. Some of them pay quite well.

    Best list around

I write anywhere from 3-10 articles a day, all unique, all hand written (no content spinning or anything) and they are really getting amazing results. I'm starting to get ranked on many keywords for a website which is barely a month old.

    Hello,
Yes I do article submission and so far, it works. I think it is all about the content. at first i really find it difficult but then i do a lot of research for fresh ideas.. If you don't have the passion to write, you can hire someone to do it for you.. i think freelance writers are all over the net and they charge at a a reasonable price..
    :)
