I am promoting my web site by submitting articles to ezine and GoArticles directories. All my articles (4 so far) are about 350 words, and in the footer section i always use two sentences: one is with the anchor test that links to my web site and another with the direct link to the web site. The purpose is to rank good for keywords by using them as an anchor text, and build a back link with one article. Am i doing it right? I checked articles on ezine and so many authors use that, but is it a right approach?
If your intention is really to promote your site it what you should do is to submit it on classified and forum ads rather than in article submission. Also one factor to consider article submission sites normally takes days to get posted.
You are getting two links one which is anchor...I believe there is nothing wrong with technique..for me you will benefit more if you can use both the links with anchor.
There are no such things called techniques. Its just some rules you have to follow. Be simple and the best. Google will love you if you are natural. Don't try to play with it. _________________________ Google is the King
The easiest thing is you create a link wheel to the article. create 2 links, one to your blog and one to the other article directories, so that will create links that connect to each other
With the help of article submission, you can increase your site traffic as well create good amount of backlinks.
my favourite technique is to create 10 articles, post them in high pr article direcotries and then link high pr links to the articles. it works like a charm
