I was wondering about submitting an article to multiple directories. Shouldn't you just submit 1 article to 1 directory? Because if you submit 1 article to multiple directories, isn't it just duplicate content?

I have had success submitting a single article to multiple directories / article sites. The key is to link back to the same page.

If you submit the article one place and link to site X and then submit it to another place and link to site Y, it will be viewed as duplicate content.

Submitting to two different places and linking both back to site X is fine.

It depends on your goals. if you want to get traffic from article directories you can submit 1 article to as many directories as you wish, however, if you want to build links, it is better to submit unique article to each directory due to the issue of duplicate content.

Yeah, I want to build up my links. I could use an article spinner so at least I can submit 1 article to a couple of different directories...

Sarabi, article spinner is a great way to generate quality links to youw website. By the way, which article spinner do you use?

I bought one awhile ago and never used it because I didn't know what I was doing. Now, I know a bit more but I'm still learning.

I'm not sure which one is the best one to use and don't mind buying another one if it works better then what I have. (Thus, my other new post). Right now I have Content Assistant and Content Rewriter Pro.

I think submitting to more than one directory is fine. I've success that way, my sites get traffic from the directories as well as from the publishers that use the articles.

Even if you submit different articles to each site you've still got the issue of those article being re-published on other sites, sometimes many times over. I think this sort of defeats the object of producing unique articles.
