I've finally gotten my head around submitting to article directories, and now I'm moving on to ezines, but what a headache! I'm in the field of Personal Development / Self Help, and after spending hours trudging around ezine directories, I've only found one quality ezine. The rest have a hundred subscribers, don't accept article submissions, or are 404ed... Is ezine article marketing worth it? and if so, how do I go about it? I can't really find much info on this - besides those sales things that give you 1 sentence of tips and want you to pay for th erest... any help would be appreciated thanks!
Article marketing is definitely worth it. Content is king ! Feed the search engines with good articles, spread your keywords all over the article and in the title of the article and distibute the articles to the ezine article websites. This is very time consuming but worth it. If you are not the best article writer, let someone wright one for you. You can find article writers probably also in this forum.
Thanks mate, but I was asking more about ezines in particular...article directories are fine...but finding an ezine and submitting to that is a major pain in the butt!
What's wrong with an ezine having a hundred subscribers if they accept your articles? Checkout the directory of ezines... (if your willing to shell out a couple bucks) -SS
As the last poster mentioned, you should check out the Directory of Ezines. They list hundreds of ezine publishers in various different niches that you can submit your articles to. I've been using this resource for the last year or so and have seen excellent results. On one occasion, I had one of the major ezines run my article, and as a result I picked up nearly 500 subscribers in just a few days.
ideamarketers.com is also a big one. If you get syndicated... You'll get crazy backlinks. Jsut write that 1 awesome article over 20 useless one.
