I was using ArticlePR.com to find sites, but I need sites that make you have an account and allow HTML in the byline. There are so many article directories that make it so you can't have HTML in the byline; that just makes it a worse article directory, and makes it less popular. That's why I like ArticleDashboard, who I know seem to be the original with that format. They allow HTML in byline, have a good interface, and require accounts. Thanks guys, I'm checking out all those links you gave me.

 

I downloaded a free ArticleDashboard script, makes me want to start my own article directory...

But there are already too many of them

 

I was looking for something like this...thanks for the list.

 

I have downloaded it and happily installed with ease. But now, I am thinking on whether to continue with it or not.

I think sig in the article are not indexed by search as backlinks nowadays. But it can be a source of traffic.

Janna, the article bio most certainly is counted as a backlink. I started another thread similar to this and apparently you should only submit to the top directories; the small ones don't matter at all and can even hurt you (but I don't believe that, but I believe the not helping you). So, I'm going to do that.
