Hey that's a really good idea with the Macro variables on the submit form.

What however almost nobody has solved yet: How to create all these variables in a flowing and timely manner. You need to see this from the writers perspective to get the point. While writing content nobody has any sense for keeping formatting rules as precise as these.

What the software guys should create here is this: a form application where you put in all the words you want to use, and the required formatting will be done automatically through point and click.

That is the only way this becomes actually useable, otherwise it's a serious pain

For the ones that watch this carefully, yes it can be done, and it has been done. A hint how to create this: The basic of it is just a specific search & replace function with given rules.

we will improve this issue.
However submitter have allocate time to use macros. Bacause this really gains the benefit of submission. Traditional article submission have limited seo benefits.
