Article submission or forum posting?

Both sectors are good in promotion sides

 

Ya for backlink building article submission is better because it give backlinks and we can use the targeted keywords for explaining the users through article.

In my experience, I think article submissions is much more efficient than forum posting because you can immediately post links unlike forum posting which takes time to have your own signature link, but both strategies are very useful in getting backlinks towards your website...

 

Just be careful and mindful of brand reputation etc.. Clearly setting out some guidelines will help avoid any potentially damaging forum posts...

I say yes... But be careful not to make your forum posts look like advertisments or you'll soon find that your posts get removed!

Regarding article submissions... I use articletrader.com and a piece of software which costs about $50 called "magical article rewriter" for volume distributions.

If you have really good quality content its probably more effective being manually placed on relevant blogs or good quality article websites...

i would surely go for article submissions as google gives preference to unique contents rather forums postings!!
Forums postings may be considered as spam@!

This thread was really helpful for me too. I have been trying multiple types of back-links and "mixing" seems the best option.

 

Personally, I prefer Article Marketing without a doubt for all of the reasons stated in the in the blog post.

Guest blog posts only allow two backlinks. Even though that is a good thing in terms of SEO, nothing has the power to boost your relevant backlink count like being able to syndicate your content via article directories.

I started article marketing within the last month and already I personally have articles that have been downloaded hundreds of times within a couple of days of submitting them and posted to blogs with resource links in tact. Guest blog posts do not go viral because they are not syndicated.

If I had to choose between the two, I would definitely choose article marketing to about ten of the top article directories.

 

Article submission gives you better than forums... You can promote your site with new content having appropriate keywords.. You can create natural quality back links too than comparing with forums..

 

Both are working good, but articles are gives some more good traffic.
