Article submission - Loads or just a few

I've just had 20 articles written for a marketing idea - they have turned out much better than i expected (though not good enough for my site) and i am looking to submit them to some of the free content article sites and have a few questions.

    1) do the SE's look at links from these sites as Spammy?
    2) Do you submit to the hundreds out there or should you be picky - is any strategy more successful than the other?
    3) Does anyone know of someone who offers this service (at a realistic price?)
    4) I've found this list - it seems ample to me http://www.vretoolbar.com/articles/directories.php - does anyone have any thoughts on the ones included - is this enough?

    Thanks for any replies.

First of all if you want to use same website link in the author resource box for the all 50 article, so my thought do not submit each article more then 10 article so you will get 10*50 = 500 link it's enough for first months for the article link again you can use the same article for the next months same process.

it really depends on what you want to get from those articles, if it's just about traffic, then just submit to the main 3 or 4 article directories (goarticles, ezinearticles..)
