I would stick to the main directories like ezinearticles, goarticles and articlebase. You will need some software if you want to submit to all the directories available in some of the posts above.

Isnare distributes well, but u cannot send unique versions, duplicate versions of the same article ends up with many article sites and email groups.

 

Use wordpress bases article submission sites. they contain links in article body. some of the example sites are:
