Article submission for backlinks, are still worthy?

I have been researching how article submission could still be a good source for backlinks. Currently, search engines as Google gives no weight to links from ezinearticles or any other article directory, so what can give some weight are those articles published on other sites. Webmaster picking content from article directories. However, my research found out that webmasters publishing articles from article directories are just pick a small snippet along with the link to the article directory or they picking the entire article removing the resource box, or they just remove the links and the author biography. In other cases I have seen that they put the nofollow attribute to the links.
So what is the wonderful part of submitting articles? Since content scrappers and webmaster are removing our links!

Backlinks from article directories are worthless!! And they provide no traffic

 

Last week I did some experiment with articles directories and new website - I'll report about this after few weeks.

 

According to me article submission must for site and google get links through it.

 

What really matter on article submission for backlinks is that other webmaster use the content to publish it on their site; however, most of them remove our links and keep the content. That is not fair.

Qualitative backlinks are the main purpose of doing article submission, I should say.

 

article submission is must for the websites. It helps in getting backlinks for the website and also good source of getting potential traffic. It's my personal experience.

 

I have to disagree with that statement profusely.

Sure, one backlink is just that. One backlink. However, most people tend to miss out on the bigger picture here.

Try this on for size one day. Try building some backlinks to that article that you submitted to that article directory and see how much that works in your favour.

 

I am sorry, but as far I know mr. Google give no weight to such backlinks. Besides If I must build backlink to an article I prefer doing it to a squidoo lens or a blogger blog.

 

Yes article directories are the best way to get free backlinks and direct traffic from article directories like ezine, buzzle, articlebase, etc.

The wonderful part of submitting article for links is
1. You will get good authority backlinks
2. traffic from the article itself
3. And Most of the links from articles directory gets indexed quite fast.
4. And more over its free.
However I would suggest that you use articles not as a way to generate backlinks but as a way to get free traffic.

 

1-How can you consider an article directory as an authority site? Are you aware that Google knows about article directories?
2-The traffic from article directories are junk!
3-The articles are indexed fast but no juice from them.
4-It's free but we are doing the job of others
I do not care about free traffic I want conversions!!!
Article directories were good when webmaster were using their content, now is useless. Nobody syndicates content anymore.

 

Very valuble and should be part of any linking strategy. I still have articles that were submitted months even years ago show up during Google updates. To submit a bunch of articles and say 4-6 weeks later it does not work is just way too soon to draw any conclusions.

 

I do not know if this is working for you!! Have been you on first spots for your keywords? Does any webmaster have syndicated your articles and leave the link as is?

I m not agree with your statement because

As far as Article Submission is concerned that it's one of the Strategy of Back link generation in SEO and One more thing that How could u say that All Article Directories put "No follow" HTML attribute for Article's link.

So in short, Article Submission provides Back link at one moment in SEO

 

You are not getting what I am saying. What I said, webmaster taking the content of the article for their websites, do not add the link as part of the article, they just remove it or put the nofollow attribute. I was not talking of the article directory.

 

I will be anxious to hear your results. For some time now, I have not valued article directories for the very reason that they don't seem to give any dofollow backlinks anymore.
