Article Submission - Can You Submit to Too Many

    Hi,

I am writing articles and submitting them to about 6 article submissions sites such as ezine and buzzle.

However, I am seeing people advertizing services where they say they will submit articles for a fee to the top 20 article sites.

Do I need to be submitting to say more than 6 sites?

Can you submit to too many sites?

    How many is too many?

Can I submit the same article to 20 sites or do I need to vary the article 20 times so it is slightly different for each site I submit it to?

    Advice please

    Jimbob

You'll find a lot of different opinions on this. I think the most prevalent is:

Submit your articles to at least the 10 most popular, but make different versions of the article (changing words here and there) so that you don't have too much duplicate content.

I have done mass submit and received hardly any traffic. Not worth it IMO and Google is not dumb enough to give you lots of backlink credit.

I just submit to ezinearticles and it depends on the niche. In some niches, I get a trickle of traffic that dies down very quickly. In other niches, I have a steady, long term flow of traffic. No idea why the difference.

I would say 6 is good for one version of an article if you use jetspinner or some kind of other article spinner then you have more quality articles, but it also depends on how long you are in it for, 1 really good, quality article submitted to 3-4 sites will get you much more traffic than 100 bad ones.

If it doesn't take up too much of your time, submit them everywhere. But do this on your own!

The more who read your articles, the more hits you get. The more hits you get, the more money you make.

Well, providing that your site and articles are good, that is.

And even though a site may not be that good, if their visitors read your stuff, and they like it, some will go to your site.

    It's all about volume.

That's something many noobs don't get.

Mass submitting to thousands of poor sites won't give you more traffic.

According to Matt Cutts as long as they are citing the source of the article, you don't need to worry, but it also isn't advantageous to spend all day long submitting to thousands of sites.

It is always more advisable to submit to the popular article directories only. You will be wasting time if you submit to the ones that have very low traffic.

I submit to over 100 and receive traffic from many different places. It can't hurt you to submit to many.

I was submitting same article in different article sites for at least 20 a day.
Then after 3 to 4 days, I will send different article at different article sites.

As for me, I don't think it's necessary to send it to too many article directories. You can do that if you want backlinks from them though.
